I'm Archana Kumari, a Lead Product Designer focused on building scalable digital products and the teams behind them.
My design principles are rooted in reframing problems before solving them, designing decisions that carry the weight so people don't have to, and owning the whole system — not just the surface people see. I bring structure to ambiguity, hold design accountable to business outcomes, and turn complex, cross-functional problems into experiences that feel simple and inevitable.
I care about my work, but I care just as much about the people building it alongside me and the people behind the screen using it.
Born in Hissar, Haryana.
Got into engineering at IIIT, turns out all that studying was good for something.
First job: Front-end developer. Turns out I liked making things look right more than making them work
Officially became a designer at Box8 and immediately got to build a design system
Joined Paytm Money. Went from designing food orders to designing where people put their money, mutual funds, NPS, stocks, ETFs, and a simplified mutual fund experience for non traders.
Senior Product Designer at Slice, went deep into loans, prepaid cards, and banking. Designed prepaid card experiences for students, freelancers, and salaried users each with wildly different needs.
At Acko, building digital vehicle insurance for India and trying to make growth and trust work in the same product.
Alongside Acko, mentored at Growth School, helping shape the next generation of designers.

The interface is the last thing I design, not the first. From Box8 to Acko, I've built the structural systems that everything else stands on.
A product breaks at its weakest link, not its best screen. I design for customers, crews, and internal teams alike — sitting with operations early, not discovering their constraints late.
